SIGNIFICANT AND ENDANGERED SITES IN BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA

Having determined that there is a multitude of structures important to preserve in Broward County, the Directors of the Broward Trust Board of Historic Preservation, Inc. is assembling a list of significant and endangered properties.

Placement on the Trust's Broward County List of Significant and Endangered Structures requires that in the Directors' judgment, a building or collection of buildings meets at least one of the following criteria:
  1. Significant for its history, site of a special event or community use
  2. Significant for the quality of the architecture
  3. Significant as an outstanding example of a particular style of architecture
  4. Significant as unique or among the last remaining of a once abundant style
E beside the entry identifies the property as endangered, meaning severely threatened at the time of its posting. D means recently demolished

This list is not comprehensive but represents an initial effort to protect our culture's history. From time to time the Board will add to and refine this list. Nominations are encouraged. Submit nominations 1) by Email to: browardtrust@bellsouth.net OR 2) by post mail to BTHP, P.O. Box 1060, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33302-1060.

Please include your name, address, telephone number and Email address if available. State the location of the structure (address if possible) and the criteria you believe it meets.

The Broward Trust Board of Directors reserves the right to accept or reject nominations without explanation.
